Setting Up Your Wallet

Connecting with MetaMask (Required)

Zenmint will guide you through the entire wallet setup process automatically. Simply click "Connect Wallet" and we'll handle the rest.

  1. Click "Connect Wallet": If MetaMask isn't installed, we'll prompt you to install it automatically
  2. Follow MetaMask Setup: Create a new wallet and set a strong password when prompted
  3. Secure Your Seed Phrase: Write down your 12-word recovery phrase and store it safely offline
  4. Network Configuration: We'll automatically configure Polygon network for you
  5. Start Using Zenmint: Once connected, you're ready to make payments!

Don't worry about technical setup - our app will detect if you need MetaMask and guide you through installation and configuration automatically. No manual network setup required!

Security Warning

Never share your seed phrase with anyone. Zenmint will never ask for your seed phrase. Store it offline in a secure location.

Your First Payment

  1. Connect Your Wallet:
    Click "Connect Wallet" button and select MetaMask from the options
  2. Get Test Tokens:
    If this is your first time, use our testnet faucet to get free tokens for practice
  3. Navigate to Payments:
    Go to the Dashboard and select "Payments" from the sidebar
  4. Enter Payment Details:
    Add recipient address, select token (USDC recommended), enter amount
  5. Review and Send:
    Check gas estimate, add description (optional), click "Send Payment"
  6. Confirm in MetaMask:
    Review the transaction details and confirm in your wallet

Understanding Gas Fees

Gas fees are small amounts (typically $0.01-0.10) paid to network validators. They're much lower on Polygon than Ethereum, making transactions affordable for everyone.
